I personally didn't dream of a LDR before because I have this feeling that It wouldn't work at all. Until one day, my officemate introduced this exciting Filipino Site to me and so I gave it try. I'm really glad i did coz I met my fiance there. We built our relationship from blogs to ym chats and calls as well, I really can tell that it helped so much to attain the kind of relationship we dreamed of. We talk in phone everyday, video calling, chats, and He planned to visit me twice a year. We also encountered lots of trials but together we conquered it because we have one goal - to be one whole and be together until forever :). Now, I proved myself wrong on my first impression about Long Distance Relationship. We are now working for K1 Visa and currently on Phase II (interview,Medical and CFO).
To those who have the same setting as mine, I would suggest to keep the trust and respect coz I'll will lead to never ending love with each other :)

How did you too build the trust the foundation? Share some tips mayo pls. also how long you too know each other? Hi there Jen, thanks for dropping by and sorry for the late reply. First of all, True love is unpredictable, we can never tell where and when will it happen to someone. In our case, It's a blessing that both of us are willing to adjust and understand each personality from there we start building the friendship to solid Romance; We dont count mistakes done by each other, rather we take it as lesson and by not doing same mistake again; There are lots of small details to bigger details on how we helped our love grow deeper everyday but I should say when you're on that situation already the rest of the things happens spontaneously:). We dont have a common friend there. I was browsing profiles after posting my blog and saw his. I actually wrote him email first welcoming him to the site and to my surprised He replied fast, we conversated (note:never pretend to be someone else just to pleased somebody), He read my blogs on that site. We start communicating since OCt 2008 but it was on and off until August 2009 where in we communicate regularly on daily basis. I dont trust Him fast but I have this strong instinct that most women have - that My fiance is different and that He is a real man, so I took the risk of knowing him slowly and finally committing myself as her GF, and I was so right with my decision. About scammers, Yes youre right they are everywhere, but you will know when a person tends to be so good to be true such as promissing near to impossible thing, trying to please you to death just to get your trust and the like. Goodluck Jenna, I really am not recommending to look for your Partner for life online, but you can give it a try if you really want to. You know I really want to start blogging but I just started signing up here and in livejournal (j-daydreamer thats also me) I'm still confuse how to use it feeling kinda lost will learn how it goes. Also one problem is I dunno if I will be able to write as good as you are or like everybody else i hope Im also gifted harhar (Im scared) . I wonder how did you learn or you just love doing it and the words will just flow no style needed just stories and passion maybe. I mean I read lots of blog and sometimes I feel a little scared of writing wrong grammars. oh speaking of which, I hope my grammar this time around is acceptable :P. I thought you two have common friends and introduced there I think thats why you both are comfortable and you're sure he is not a fake one. Anyway I learn a lot from your advices here when it comes to relationship. You know I really also want to try blogging because i think it would make me feel happy to express what I feel. Its like expressing what you have inside and at the same time helping others to understand or have knowledge on something they do not know or have no idea. In addition to that I think its nice to go back and read your own blog and reminiscing your stories your feelings whenever you're sad, happy , nervous on something scared everything I think its pretty cool to blog and read your own story and share it as well. It also helps other people to learn and be guided ;) Well for me reason why I am interested in online stuff/LDR not that I what to experiment or something but I also have this feeling that its the only way I can find my true love. I had a boyfriend before but that was 2 years ago it did'nt work out between us haah long story maybe I will blog that one aha!. He is my neighbor arrr and that is the worst part of it when things did not work out you will experience the agony of seeing him with other woman arrrg :( so for me no more future neighbor bf lol! haha also classmate or even officemate =D based on my experience yes its nice when you are so close/near with each other but if things fall out, your work, your assigment you will have a problem dealing it more when you see that person and you and him are not together anymore arrr so that kind of relationship is a big NO NO i can accept common friends rather but neighbor/classmate/officemate nah.
